Saturday June 12

Well, the summer of sport has begun. Euro 2004 is underway with Portugal playing Greece and England play France tomorrow, Sunday.
Tennis at the Queens club in Brighton is well underway although all the British players are out already and England are facing a tough job against New Zealand in the third cricket test.

So, with Wimbledon due to start, the soccer well underway, cricket drawing to a close and the Olympics just over the horizon it is looking to be a spectacular summer.

As for the family, well today I did some basic carpentry in the garage and made a wooden "cage" for the trash bags. This means that all the bags can be kept tidily until the trash man cometh and soon we are off to the mighty Asda to carry out the weekly shop for food.

I guess that's about it for now. There'll probably be more tomorrow because we are off to Ringstead Bay, for a day by the seaside so for nor

Poulton.....OUT
