More England woe

Gee, how could I have expected more. England out of the footie and Henman getting unceremoniously dumped out of Wimbledon at the quarter final stage by some unseeded player. Oh, and we ain't knocking the ball around so hotly in the Cricket either, ah well - at least there's the Olympics to look forwards to and we're bound to win a whole boat load of gold medals, right?

So, what else -well it's not been a bad week personally. Had a piece published in the prestigious national newspaper, the Sunday Times as well as a couple of pieces published in some of the local newspapers. Was asked to be a national IT spokesperson for the Department of Trade and industry (that's part of the UK Government) and had some pretty good meetings, resulting in a glowing testimonial letter (and it's not often that that happens)

So, what now -well the weekend is nearly upon us and we need to find something to occupy ourselves. The mundane things need attending to, such as the lawn, the garden, the fishpond, the car, the shopping - oh heck I can feel my self giving up the will to live already so I think I'll scoot off to the office now.

Poulton - OUT!
